Ventura poor, elected Vice President of DigitalEurope El responsable de Relaciones Internacionales de AMETIC asume la vicepresidencia de la Federaci n Europea de la Industria TIC, Electr nica, Contenidos Digitales y Telecomunicaciones. Ventura Pobre Prieto, miembro de la Junta Directiva y responsable de Relaciones Internacionales de AMETIC, ha sido elegido vicepresidente de DigitalEurope, Federaci n Europea de la Industria TIC, Electr nica, Contenidos Digitales y Telecomunicaciones formada por 40 asociaciones nacionales y 65 corporaciones de toda Europa.
El nombramiento se ha producido con un mayoritario respaldo de las asociaciones nacionales y empresas representadas en el citado organismo, del que su nuevo vicepresidente era ya miembro del Comit Ejecutivo desde mediados de 2014. Por su parte, Markus Borchert, presidente de Nokia Europa, ha sido promovido a la presidencia del organismo. DigitalEurope fomenta y apoya el desarrollo de la Econom a Digital en el mbito europeo, algo con lo que la propia AMETIC est seriamente comprometida.
Ingeniero Industrial por la Universidad Polit cnica de Madrid, el nuevo vicepresidente de DigitalEurope ha dirigido, desde 1982, empresas multinacionales del sector de la Electr nica, en Espa a, Alemania, Sudam rica y Estados Unidos. Profesor de EADA Barcelona, actualmente es miembro de la Junta Directiva y responsable de las Relaciones Internacionales de AMETIC.
Esta designaci n viene a premiar el trabajo realizado en el seno de DigitalEurope por Ventura Pobre, su participaci n activa en la planificaci n de las estrategias de la patronal europea. Y constituye, asimismo, un reconocimiento al papel de AMETIC por su impulso al desarrollo de un mercado nico digital europeo, su apoyo a las empresas del sector TIC de toda dimensi n y, tambi n, su voluntad de impulsar la transformaci n digital de la econom a espa ola.
Ventura Pobre ha se alado que trabajamos para lograr una Uni n Europea que anima y apoya a las industrias que basan su actividad en la tecnolog a digital, que prospera y crece con los puestos de trabajo que creamos, que compite con la innovaci n y los beneficios econ micos que generamos, y que evoluciona con los cambios que proponemos a la sociedad con nuestros productos y servicios .
Dentro de AMETIC, el trabajo de las m s de 60 reas y Comisiones que cubren todo el espectro de la Industria Electr nica, de las Tecnolog as de la Informaci n, de las Telecomunicaciones y de los Contenidos Digitales, nutrido de forma continua con la informaci n de DigitalEurope, ha permitido desarrollar iniciativas, proponer modificaciones y, en definitiva, participar en el desarrollo de la Estrategia Digital europea.
Ahora, desde la Vicepresidencia de DigitalEurope, impulsaremos propuestas concretas para ir m s r pidos en la transformaci n digital europea, esto es, de nuestros sectores productivos, de nuestras administraciones p blicas y de nuestro sistema educativo, en base a impulsar el desarrollo de las competencias digitales en la UE, incrementar el esfuerzo en I+D TIC con grandes proyectos tractores europeos, que sean realmente transformadores, y proponiendo medidas que fortalezcan a nuestra industria , ha a adido.
