disguise secured a spot in the 12th annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, as the sole live event technology provider among Britain's mid-market companies with the fastest-growing international sales.

This year's special Covid-19 edition highlights the important contribution that private companies have made during the pandemic and marks the fourth consecutive year disguise has made it in the publication's Fast Track league.

In the past year disguise has led the way in extended reality and virtual production, accelerating development of its workflow and launching at a time when the live events industry has started recognising the need for immersive yet remote real-time production. Since then,over 140 disguise xR stages have been built in more than 35 countries to support the growing demand across film, broadcast, live music, corporate events, education, esports and more.

Following two years of continued research and development alongside its key user community, the disguise xR technology has reached a level of maturity that enabled an official release in April 2020, accelerated by the demand from artists, brands and organisations to engage remote audiences like never before.

Committed to opening up wider access to its workflow, disguise further invested into the development of its rx and RenderStream support for Unreal Engine integration and vx 1 and vx 2 media servers tailored for high-quality productions of any scale. This new technology bundle has also introduced new applications for disguise across on-set virtual production, offering uncompressed real-time rendering solutions that can significantly bring down post-production cost and time.

Last year disguise has also made the decision to offer free access to its Designer licence for 12 months, in addition to launching free online training into its full suite of workflows on its newly-launched elearning platform, ensuring all users had the opportunity to learn and upskill in their desired workflow, at their own pace.

As disguise continues to work towards lowering the barrier of entry to xR and virtual production, it is also focused on providing an inclusive environment for talent from all walks of life to join and grow. This year, the company has launched an internship program with Kwanda and Workfinder, as it strives to welcome more women and ethnic minorities to the team and address the lack of diversity in the technology sector.
