FOR-A Brings Switchers, Multi-Viewers, Encoding Decoding, and Signal Proceing Solutions to CAPER 04

FOR-A America will exhibit several of its video production solutions at the upcoming CAPERshow. The show takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 29-31, and focuses on professional broadcast, cable, and satellite television, as well as cinema and radio markets. FOR-A will showcase its video switcher, video transmission, signal processing, and multiviewer solutions within the SVC (Sistemas de Video Comunicacin) booth, C-10.

FOR-A will display its HVS-390HS video switcher a cost-effective unit that allows for versatility in video switching. The HVS-390HS is a popular choice among houses of worship, universities, public access television stations, major newsgathering organizations, government agencies and network news stations. The switcher offers up to three different control panels and 10 remote AUX control panels that can be used simultaneously, giving operators choice in determining what best fits their production environment.

FOR-A will also showcase its HVS-XT100/110 portable video switchers, which boast exceptional cost performance and diverse features, including mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, Chroma keyer and DSK.

The MV-1620HS multiviewer will also be on display. Accepting up to 16 channels of mixed HD/SD-SDI/analog composite signals for monitoring on up to two screens, the 1RU multiviewer is a full-featured yet economical unit.

As Fujitsus exclusive North American distributor, FOR-A will also showcase Fujitsus IP-920 series of video transmission equipment. The IP-920 encoder/decoder solutions use highly efficient video encoding technology, H.264, to perform live transmission of high fidelity and HDTV at low bit-rates. Capable of operating at less than 99ms back-to-back latency and featuring real-time transmission and robust error correction, Fujitsus IP-920 solutions are widely used for HD/SD content delivery in broadcast, enterprise and government applications.

FOR-A will also demonstrate its FA-9520 signal processor. The FA-9520 3G/HD/SD dual channel multipurpose signal processor provides frame synchronization, up/down/cross/aspect conversion, two channels of full RGB color correction, logo inserter functions and an automatic video optimizer. The unit is an ideal choice for a variety of applications, including master control, mobile production, post production services and live production.
