Leader in IP Video To Introduce New Synchronized Multi-camera Remote Production System and Cloud Applications To Brazilian Broadcasters MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - August 16, 2016 - TVU Networks, the global technology leader in live IP video solutions, announces it participation at the upcoming SET Expo in S o Paulo, Brazil. The company will showcase its new synchronized, multi-camera remote production system, TVU RPS, and Cloud-based workflow solutions for live video, TVU Command Center and TVU Alert. TVU will also demonstrate its award-winning TVU One portable newsgathering video transmitter. The show takes place August 30-September 1 in the Red Pavilion at Expo Center Norte, and TVU Networks will exhibit in STI Telecom's Booth, D-108A.
TVU RPS is a cost-effective alternative solution for live, remote, synchronized multi-camera news and sports coverage. The award-winning system debuted earlier this year at NAB, and eliminates the need for expensive and complex mobile truck use for production of major sporting and broadcast events. TVU RPS enables the production of a live, multi-camera program in a remote location using mainly a broadcaster's existing control room in their studio and a public Internet connection from the field. The TVU RPS transmitter encodes up to four synchronized SDI sources and transmits high-quality and low-latency IP video from the remote location to a studio-based TVU receiver, as the receiver outputs four synchronized SDI outputs. With TVU RPS, broadcasters can utilize in-house production staff and equipment at the studio, saving significant cost in producing a remote, multi-camera live shot.
TVU Command Center is a cloud-based solution that allows central management and control of all TVU transmitters, video receivers, and services within a group of televisions stations from almost anywhere.
TVU Alert is also a cloud-hosted service that makes it quick and simple to send mission-critical alerts, such as breaking news, anywhere throughout a news organization. Together, they help broadcasters get to air first with live video from the most important breaking stories.
TVU Networks' TVU One mobile uplink transmitter is a compact solution that delivers high-quality IP video transmission performance. It features TVU Networks' patented Inverse Statmux Plus (IS+) transmission algorithm to transmit dependable HD quality video with less than one second latency through multiple transmission mediums, including cellular, satellite, microwave, MIMO Mesh, WiFi, Ethernet and BGAN.
