Durban Poison premiers in Namibia --

Durban Poison (2013), a South African feature film directed by Andrew Worsdale and produced by the Karoo Film Company, will screen at the Goethe-Centre in Windhoek, Namibia on 31 May at 19h00. The screening is presented by AfricAvenir, a non-profit organisation which aims to educate and inform African and European audiences.
The film stars Brandon Auret (District 9) and Cara Roberts (Musiek vir die Agtergrond) as two outlaw lovers who go on a killing spree, earning them the reputation of being South Africa s version of Bonnie and Clyde. Inspired by a true story, Durban Poison centres around a powerful, destructive romance.
After winning Best South African feature film at the 2013 Durban International Film Festival, Jim Neversink, a first time film composer who created the movie s musical score, won a special jury prize at the Luxor African Film Festival in March 2014.
Tickets to the screening will cost 30N$.
