Here are the 9 Titles Screening in the 7 Annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival

Featuring 5 new titles and 4 selections from ESPN Films' Upcoming Series Nine for IX', this year's Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival welcomes back Entourage's Kevin Connolly with the world premiere of Big Shot.'

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, is thrilled to announce the lineup for the seventh annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival. Founded to broaden the audience for independent film through stories about sports and competition, this year's Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival will consist of nine films, including four titles from ESPN Films' highly anticipated Nine for IX" series which celebrates the fortieth anniversary of Title IX with nine documentary films about women in sports directed by outstanding female filmmakers.

Kicking off the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival will be the world premiere of Big Shot, directed by Kevin Connolly (Entourage), which will also double as the gala premiere of the program on Friday, April 19. Connolly first came to Tribeca in 2007 with the debut of his feature film, Gardener of Eden. In Big Shot, Connolly chronicles John Spano's fraudulent purchase of the New York Islanders, taking viewers behind the scenes as the biggest fraud in hockey history unfolds.

One of the premier showcases for independent films about sports and competition, the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival appeals to both sports fans and film lovers as sports intersect with art. In addition to being shown throughout the Festival, all of this year's Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival films will be screened at Tribeca Cinemas on Saturday, April 27. The Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival will also present Sports Day as part of the Tribeca Family Festival Street Fair, an event that includes free sports-related games and special appearances by some of New York's most popular athletes.
