As part of Fox Sports' first-ever 4K Day, a day that is seeing four productions in 4K HDR, the network is honoring the memory of those lost 20 years ago on Sept. 11, 2001. Tonight's broadcast is going to be an emotional one in Queens as the city of New York comes together for a game between two teams that are the bedrock of this baseball metropolis: the Mets and Yankees.
Before the ceremonies, SVG's Kristian Hernandez caught up with VP, Field Operations and Engineering Brad Cheney, to discuss the planning that what went into this massive effort of 4K HDR productions, the decision to deploy postseason-level technology for this regular season contest, and how this night of remembrance serves as a fitting conclusion to a baseball-filled summer.
