LucidLink has announced an upgrade to its cloud-based storage collaboration solution.
Aimed at expanding real-time multi-platform cloud collaboration, the enhancement enables unification across desktop, browser and mobile devices. LucidLink's scalable infrastructure provides teams with instant and secure access to their data, regardless of location.
The latest release marks the emergence of LucidLink as a platform, said the company, with further iterations planned to drive deeper integrations, aiming to meet the evolving needs of creative teams across the globe.
LucidLink's new features include a reimagined desktop and web experience built on entirely new architecture. New applications enable real-time collaboration across workflows spanning home, on-prem and cloud with the need to transfer, download or sync data eliminated. Future updates will include mobile apps.
A global user model provides users with a single account, joining multiple file spaces across devices to enhance mobility. Streamlined macOS installation delivers a faster experience for creatives, reducing the need for reboots and security changes.
Users can select LucidLink's AWS-driven bundled, egress-free storage options or use their own cloud storage facilities.
A series of updates scheduled for 2025 includes: mobile Android and iOS apps, external link sharing and browser-based, drag and drop file upload. Enhanced security options will feature multi-factor authentication (MFA) and SAML-based SSO.
