Grass Valley Appoints Del Parks as Chair of GVX Customer Council

MONTREAL, October 19, 2020 Grass Valley today announces that Sinclair Broadcasts Del Parks has been appointed as chair of GVX, its customer council made up of globally recognized media technology leaders from some of the largest and most innovative media brands in the industry. Parks, an award-winning and respected technology executive, has helped build Sinclair Broadcast Group into one of the largest content creators and distributors in the U.S. Parks will lead the customer group to drive Grass Valleys efforts to move media technology innovation forward and deliver solutions that match the challenges facing todays content producers and distributors. He is EVP and CTO at Sinclair Broadcast Group and a Fellow of The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).

The relationships weve built over the last 60 years are central to our unique ability to engage with the industrys greatest minds and influencers. The GVX Customer Council was launched in June 2020 and convenes regularly. It discusses market conditions, technological advancements, and other themes that impact both suppliers and buyers, feeding directly into Grass Valleys product development strategy.
