LANG strengthens partnership with LG in OLED distribution

The brand new LG OLED display 55EW5F-A convinces with its innovative transparent technology. In addition to vivid colors and a wide viewing angle, the display primarily scores with an impressive transparency of 38% - dark contents appear transparent, while bright contents appear opaque. This allows media installations to incorporate real objects or spaces behind the display into the content and thus into the image effect of the application. The display has a particularly long running time of 30,000 hours with 18/7 operation and thus provides ideal conditions for any installation.

LANG AG has been a distributor of LG products in the OLED segment since the beginning of 2017. The partnership between the German wholesaler and LG will be strengthened from now on with a focus on OLED displays. Based on the LG 55EW5F-A display, SOLUTIONS4AV has developed a new product line of GhosT-OLED displays, which has been specially adapted to the requirements of and use in the professional AV market.

As of summer 2019, a total of four different product variations will be available in the LANG AG portfolio. In addition to the original open frame display from LG, the products GhosT-OLED Full Kit, Half Kit and Touch Kit complete the product range. The GhosT-OLED Full Kit is ideally suited for every rental & staging application due to its application-oriented product design. At the same time it can also be used as a stand-alone application because the Signage Box is integrated in the stand. The optimized housing of the display now offers the possibility of independently adjusting the stand orientation from 90 to 180 in just a few steps. The Half Kit is an open frame version of the GhosT-OLED, which allows an easy integration into transparent video walls, table applications or installations where the Signage Box has to be placed distantly. The Signage Box can be placed at a distance of 1.6 meters. The additional Touch Kit consists of a primeTOUCH overlay, which can be combined with both the Full Kit and the Half Kit to round off the versatile GhosT-OLED product range. Due to the different product variants and the associated flexibility, LANG AG offers the optimal version and the right accessories for any kind of creative installation. For the LG Display 55EW5F-A as well as for the GhosT-OLED series, LANG AG offers a warranty of three years.
