RT Calls for New Ideas for Format Farm for RT One and RT 2 RT is delighted to announce this year's call for Format Farm programme ideas for RT One and RT 2. Format Farm is an established RT creative initiative run by RT Global to support the production and broadcast of original TV formats for both Irish audiences and for export to international broadcasters.

The opening date for submissions for ideas for RT One and RT 2 is today, Monday 15February 2016, closing on Friday 8 April 2016.

To date Format Farm has delivered original, entertaining and exciting Irish TV formats that have travelled the globe. The Hit by Vision Independent Pictures has been successfully optioned, aired and licensed in several international territories, Whose Holiday Is It Anyway by Coco Productions has been recently aired in Belgium with option agreements in place globally and I've Got Your Back by Adare Productions has had a recent 10 part commission by RT .

To submit an new idea production companies will need to go through the e-commissioning process and identify the idea a Format Farm submission, specifying the relevant channel and category. All ideas will be reviewed by the relevant Genre Head and Head of Formats for consideration and they will make recommendations to the Channel Controllers.
