German Motorsports Producer Relies on Signiant for Large File Transfer

German production company _wige GROUP has expanded its use of Signiant's technology to quickly move sports content to customers and partners worldwide. The largest motorsports producer in Germany, _wige GROUP specializes in motion picture content for corporations, TV broadcasters, and digital platforms.

For 35 years, _wige GROUP has been committed to highly flexible, efficient, and lower cost production processes, including the way they transfer their large video files, which average 20 GB and can contain up to two hours of content.

Before turning to Signiant, _wige GROUP mailed hard drives with footage, but it had taken up to five days for critical content to reach international clients. _wige GROUP needed a faster solution and selected Signiant's Media Exchange in 2012 to move large files over IP networks around the world.
