SC Medias SC Awards program has selected Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM) Kona Site Defender as the Best Web Application Solution, bestowing the award during the 23rd annual SC Awards gala held Tuesday night of the RSA Conference in San Francisco, presented by SC Media. Chosen by a distinguished group of leading IT security professionals, the SC Awards honor the achievements of companies and information security professionals who have proven to be the best in the industry for protecting today's corporate world from an array of risks and threats.
