EditShare has revealed details of its work to enhance storage capabilities at Tint.

Aiming to streamline workflows between its Gothenburg and Stockholm facilities, the Swedish post production house has integrated EditShare solutions to enable closer collaboration among its colourists, VFX artists, sound designers, editors and producers.

Tint selected a solution featuring two EFS 300 storage nodes each in both of its locations, reinforced with ultra-high-speed NYMe nodes. The system provides easier media sharing across sites, eliminating bottlenecks, overcoming version control issues and delivering exceptional performance and throughput , said the company.

Albin Abrahamsson, post supervisor, Tint, said, Our primary goal was to create a frictionless, collaborative working environment for both our Gothenburg and Stockholm teams. EditShare's EFS storage has completely transformed how we work, eliminating file transfer delays, removing admin worries and allowing our teams to focus purely on the creative process. The NVMe performance is incredible, especially for our VFX and colour grading workflows.

Utilising EditShare's open API framework, Tint has been able to integrate its own scripts with Apple Shortcuts, allowing producers to quickly create media space, add folders and onboard new users without accessing the core EFS system. EditShare's EFS auditing capabilities deliver real-time activity tracking and monitor every user action, ensuring robust content security. The project was completed with the company's regional partner, Danmon Group Sweden.
