Sonnet to Feature Presentations From Audio Pros Jim Roese and Sean Householder at the NAMM Show

IRVINE, CA-Jan. 22, 2013-At the 2013 NAMM Show in Anaheim, audio pros Jim Roese and Sean Householder will demonstrate solutions they are currently using based on Sonnets Thunderbolt -to-PCIe expansion systems. Roese will present Midas AES50 I/O Over Thunderbolt at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. from Jan. 24-27. Householders presentation, AVID ProTools/HDX2 Over Thunderbolt, will take place at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. from Jan. 24-26. All presentations will be given in Sonnets booth, 7620.

Roese is CEO and president of RPM Dynamics, a pro audio solutions company specializing in value-added systems based on Midas Digital audio consoles. An accomplished FOH engineer and production manager, Roese is also a writer and content provider for the online publication SoundProLive. In his presentation at the NAMM Show, Roese will demonstrate a cost-effective and highly portable solution he developed for on-location audio workflows that integrates the Sonnet Echo Express II Thunderbolt expansion chassis with a Midas Digital I/O console and Lynx Studio Technologys PCIe card with an AES50 port, the AES16e50. Roese has successfully applied this solution in numerous high-profile music events including last falls Blondie/Devo 2012 "Whip It to Shreds" concert tour.

Householder, a professional music producer, engineer, and songwriter based in southern California, is involved in a wide range of live recording, mixing, and pro audio projects. At NAMM, Householder will describe how he is able to build a seamless and highly portable audio editing workflow with just the Sonnet Echo Express Pro chassis, two Avid ProTools|HDX PCIe cards, and a lightweight MacBook Pro .
