In continuous support of the company's social values, DTS collaborated with VIZIO and Warner Brothers Games to host a charity stream featuring DTS Creator Class streamers, ChelseaBytes and Toph. Viewers that tuned in live also donated to raise money for Girls Who Code, an organization closing the gender gap for entry-level technology jobs through coding and career preparation, and It Gets Better Project, an organization connecting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth.
Those that donated were entered to win Gotham Knights codes or the VIZIO M-Series Elevate Soundbar to experience the game the way it was meant to be heard.
The streamers played Gotham Knights for a full stream, a game recently recognized as a DICE finalist for outstanding achievement in audio design. During the stream, ChelseaBytes and Toph highlighted the official gaming TV and Soundbar for the game by unboxing the VIZIO M-Series QX and VIZIO M-Series Elevate Soundbar, respectively. Both devices feature DTS:X technology to create a truly immersive gaming experience.
Together, the streamers raised nearly $5,000 for both organizations, adding to nearly $18,000 raised in collaboration with the DTS Creator Class Streamers. As the media technology sector begins to collectively prioritize corporate social engagement, DTS proudly joins industry partners in supporting different communities including women in technology as we celebrate Women's History Month in March.
