Imagina US, filial de Imagina para EE.UU y Am rica Latina, ha renovado el almacenamiento compartido en su sede en Miami (Florida). Para este proyecto, el integrador Unitecnic ha contado con la tecnolog a MatrixStore Object Storage de Object Matrix.
En l nea con la estrategia de la compa a para aumentar su producci n de contenido original para el mercado hispano, Imagina US identific la necesidad de implementar una estrategia de almacenamiento escalable y que desde primer momento eliminara las ineficiencias potenciales.

Ese crecimiento, junto con la migraci n a formatos de definici n superiores, ha hecho necesario actuar para mejorar la eficacia en nuestros flujos de trabajo y, por supuesto, incrementar la capacidad de almacenamiento .
A medida que estudi bamos el proyecto, sab amos que ten amos que encontrar un sistema de almacenamiento centralizado que tambi n nos permitiera utilizar diferentes atributos para cada una de nuestras particiones con el fin de ofrecer una gran variedad de servicios de difusi n adaptados a las necesidades de nuestros clientes. Nuestra apuesta era as un sistema que pudiera adaptarse f cilmente a nuestros sistemas y flujos de trabajo de delivery, ingesta, control de calidad y post-producci n. La plataforma MatrixStore elegida por Imagina US incluye 528 terabytes en una red 10 GigE para almacenamiento nearline; InterConnect (Avid Interplay) para parking, archivo y continuidad de negocio; Vision (con Glooport) para browsing y compartici n de contenido; e interfaces de fichero MXFS (MatrixStore) y SMB.
