January 17, 2025: We've made our 2024 DSA Systemic Risk Assessment Report available to the public today. This report provides a point-in-time snapshot from August 2024 of our ongoing and continuously improving processes. We continue our work to support our commitments to member safety and the goals and requirements of the Digital Services Act.

Today, as part of our compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA) as a Very Large Online Platform (VLOP), we made three reports available to the public. This includes the 2023 DSA Systemic Risk Assessment Report, which details the effectiveness of our systemic risk mitigations in the EU as of last year; the 2024 DSA Audit Report, which shows the results of our first annual independent audit of LinkedIn's compliance with Chapter 3 of the DSA; and the 2024 Audit Implementation Response, our response to the audit and a description of what we already have done and are doing to address audit recommendations.

DSA Systemic Risk Assessment We have invested in evaluating the effectiveness of our policies, content moderation practices, and other safeguards to mitigate potential harm on our platform for years. The release of this report provides a point-in-time snapshot (August 2023) of our ongoing and continuously improving processes.

Since producing this report, we have made numerous enhancements to our products and technologies, and have shared regular updates around our work including the following:

Adopting C2PA to help members identify content shared on the platform that was generated by AI

Helping drive authentic experiences by offering verification features for free

Safeguarding members in the new age of AI

DSA Audit and Implementation Response The first annual DSA audit represented a significant milestone for the Trust and Safety industry as we began adapting an evaluation system that was designed for more concrete and measurable benchmarks seen in highly regulated industries to the more nuanced reality of online safety. We welcome laws like the DSA that codify the types of online safety best practices and drive accountability. We'll continue working with the European Commission, our peers, and our auditors to adapt the process in the coming years, as we provide meaningful transparency for our members.
