The Canon EOS 7D Mark II In the Spotlight
The star of the show, the EOS 7D Mark II, will be on display, so all attendees can get their hands-on the highly anticipated DSLR from Canon's APS-sensor lineup. Capturing every fun-filled moment of the night, attendees can even get in front of the camera and see it in action throughout the evening. The 7D Mark II boasts, among many other impressive features, a 20.2MP CMOS sensor for stunning detail and impressive clarity, high speed continuous shooting up to 10fps, stunning full HD video, and the Intelligent Viewfinder II - and one attendee will get to walk away with their very own! Canon will also have their Pro100 and Pro10 printers on display, as well as the CP910 for printing photos on the spot. Bon Jovi's Official World Tour Photographer David Bergman Takes the Stage
Headlining the night's speaker lineup will be famed action photographer David Bergman, Bon Jovi's official tour photographer and a regular image contributor to the cover and pages of Sports Illustrated. He will present his acclaimed work, divulging his best tips and tricks for shooting the action, drawing from his experience on two world-tours with Bon Jovi, five Olympic games and countless professional sporting events.
A curated gallery of David's best action shots will be showcased throughout the evening for attendees' viewing pleasure, with one signed framed print to be raffled off at the end of the event. David will also be signing his brand new coffee table book, WORK, a collection of behind-the-scenes and on-stage shots of two record-breaking Bon Jovi world tours. The book will be available for purchase exclusively at the event . One lucky attendee will be the winner of the prized book, signed by none other than David Bergman and Jon Bon Jovi himself!
A Photo Op With NFL Superstar Lawrence Taylor and a MAJOR Giveaway
Give action modeling your best shot and snag a photo with New York Giants Legend and NFL Hall of Fame Inductee, Lawrence Taylor. Then, attendees can have their photos printed right then and there with Canon's CP910 printer. Adorama will even be raffling off two tickets to the XLIX Big Game!
Peter Read Miller and Rudy Winston Present: Action Photography and the 7D Mark II
Also joining the speaker lineup will be Sports Illustrated staff photographer Peter Read Miller and Canon technical educator Rudy Winston. Peter Read Miller has been photographing athletes, events and the sporting life for more than 40 years. He is currently a staff photographer for Sports Illustrated, where he has worked for more than 30 years, and his images have appeared on more than 100 Sports Illustrated covers. One of Canon's leading experts in camera operation, Rudy Winston has educated and trained customers, dealer staff and Canon USA's own employees for more than 18 years. At this event, Rudy will introduce the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, and highlight how its advanced features can be applied in a multitude of real-life situations, by different types of photo enthusiasts.
