On Sunday 20 October, the Moreleta Auditorium in Pretoria hosted an Idols Spectacular show featuring the top seven singers who vied for South African viewers votes. Backed by the Idols choir, contestants opened the show with a performance of Katy Perry s chart-topping song, Roar, before showing their individual capabilities in solo performances.

Audience votes can be submitted on Mxit for 25 moola, by SMS for R1,50 or on the website for free.

Voting, closes on Monday 21 October at 22h00 and fans find out which contestants have made it to the top six on Tuesday 22 October when the results show airs on M-Net and Mzansi Magic at 19h30.
