Skyline Communications, the leading global supplier of end-to-end digital transformation software solutions for the ICT media and broadband industry, announces that the German ARD Group deployed DataMiner for the end-to-end management and quality control of its live event streams of the 2020 European football championship. This operation was set up as a very efficient joint effort across different partners, including Hessischer Rundfunk, WDR and Bayerischer Rundfunk.

A DataMiner System deployed in Frankfurt at Hessischer Rundfunk manages among others encoding and QoS measurement solutions, all the way up to the origin server. But a variety of further platform resources are also involved, and these are located at both WDR and Bayerischer Rundfunk.
