They're baaaaccckkk! The Super Six arrived back in Raleigh on the evening of Tuesday, August 23, 2016, after over three weeks covering the Summer Olympics in Rio. Thankfully WRAL-TV Anchors Debra Morgan, Renee Chou, Jeff Gravley & WRAL-TV Photojournalists Brad Simmons, Keith Baker & Ed Wilson had no flight delays and got home with all of their luggage. Quick a difference from the chaos of their trip to South America late last month.

From WRAL-TVs Renee Chou: Team Rio is back home!!!! Along with all our bags. :) The return trip from Rio to NYC to Raleigh was smooth and uneventful. Couldnt have asked for a better group to share this Olympic journey. We come back with stronger friendships and amazing memories.
Perhaps the best moment of WRAL's Olympic coverage came at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Elsa, the daughter of Renee Chou, might've broken Usain Bolt's record when she saw her Mommy. Priceless.
