Schneider Electric Recognised as Vendor Champion in Canalys Channel Leadership Matrix EMEA For Third Year Running 15/12/2021
APC named as a vendor Champion in Canalys' annual report for channel management leadership in EMEA
Champion' status acknowledges vendors who achieve the highest levels of excellence in channel management, and year on year improvements
Leadership status awarded for strong channel account management, expert technical support, and consistent commitments to partner-led business models
Schneider Electric , the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, and the world's most sustainable corporation 2021 as ranked by Corporate Knights, has been named as a Vendor Champion' in the Canalys Channel Leadership Matrix for the third year in a row. Research firm Canalys named APC an EMEA Channel Leadership Champion for its consistently strong levels of account management, its commitments to partner-led business models, and for the quality of its technical support. Champion' status is hailed by Canalys as an impressive achievement, reflecting the highest levels of excellence in channel management, and demonstrating improvements year-on-year.
Throughout 2021, Schneider Electric has simultaneously developed new service offers, while continuing to tailor its partner programs, enablement paths and benefits to support partners. Further, the company has increased the volume of indirect business through its partners by 4%, while recruiting and improving support for partners across all key areas, including Iberia and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
In April 2021, Schneider Electric launched its Edge Software & Digital Services Program - a complete suite of benefits, support tools and certifications that enables IT solution providers to create a dedicated Managed Power Services practice. Formulated in response to the growth in edge computing, this new program enables IT solution providers to establish recurring revenue streams by offering remote monitoring and management of the physical infrastructure across their customers' networks, by utilising Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure IT Software & Digital Services.
In response to growing demands for as-a-service based business models Schneider Electric has also taken a channel-first approach to its first as-a-service offer, partnering with IT distributors in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Austria to support them in delivering a market-first managed services offer for IT channel partners. Available through ALSO, Ingram Micro and TechData, Managed Power as a Service combines Schneider Electric's APC Smart-UPS uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with its award-winning Monitoring & Dispatch services and EcoStruxure software, to help partners create their own as a Service offer, with flexible finance options from the participating IT distributors.

The Canalys Channel Leadership Matrix EMEA 2021 assesses vendor performance across 12 key areas, creating a benchmark for organisations within the region. Responses are grouped into three topics, which include programs and enablement, sales engagement and partner experience. Scores are collected on an ongoing basis to provide a continuous, real-time view of a vendor's ability to support its channel.
