The Pogues have struck gold once more! Season 4, Part 1 of Outer Banks snapped up the #1 spot (8.8M views) on the English TV List for a second week. Fans eager to relive the thrill of the hunt took to rewatching Season 1 which reentered the list at #8 (2.2M views). Looking to embrace the Pogue life before Part 2 drops on November 7? Poguelandia returns on November 2 in Santa Monica with performances by Remi Wolf, Jungle, and GloRilla and fans can immerse themselves in iconic moments and locations from the world of OBX - chow down at Outer Banks-themed eateries The Wreck, Cleo's Spice Shack, Rockfish Boathouse, and Heyward's Seafood, grab a drink (responsibly, for those 21+) at The Boneyard Bar and take a photo with the treasured Pogues caravan, the Twinkie and more. Enter to win tickets here.
Speaking of striking gold returning to the lists for yet another week were three fan favorites. The English TV List saw Nobody Wants This advancing the #hotrabbis cause at #3 (6.2M views) in its fourth week and Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's true-crime drama Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story continued to capture public fascination at #4 (5.3M views) in its fifth week. The Non-English TV List found the competition series Culinary Class Wars (Korea) bring the heat to hold #4 (1.7M views) in its fifth week. Season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer (another fan favorite!) debuted at #2 with 7M views on the English TV List with a perfect 100% score from Critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The series has also made strides in moving the needle on gender-balanced hiring, earning a ReFrame Stamp for its second season.
Age-gap romances are capturing hearts (and #1 spots) around the globe! Lonely Planet, the heartfelt drama centering around the transformational power of travel' starring Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth, rose to #1 on the English Films List with 13.7M views, making it the most watched title of the week while romantic thriller Deceitful Love (Italy) set pulses racing as it took the top spot on the Non-English TV List with 8.3M views and hit the Top 10 in 87 countries. Season 7 of reality series Love is Blind kept things real at #5 (3.3M views) while fans await the finale this Wednesday.
Two gripping true-crime titles captured audiences this week. Anna Kendrick's chilling directorial debut, Woman of the Hour, claimed the #2 spot (9.9M views) on the English Films List. The critically acclaimed film with a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes stars Kendrick alongside Kathryn Gallagher, Nicolette Robinson, and Autumn Best -who all held their breath upon reading the script for the first time. The film delves into the eerie real-life tale of serial killer Rodney Alcala, hauntingly portrayed by Daniel Zovatto, who infamously appeared-and won-an episode of The Dating Game. Elsewhere, the Menendez brothers saga continued its hold on viewers. Alejandro Hartmann's documentary The Menendez Brothers took #4 (6.9M views) on the English Films List.
True stories continued to dominate as four additional documentaries secured spots across the lists, with three coming from the UK. The jaw-dropping Sweet Bobby: My Catfish Nightmare debuted on the English Films List at #3 (7M views) while the investigative Ancient Apocalypse: The Americas entered the English TV List at #9 (2.2M views) and the dark and provocative Season 5 of I AM A KILLER launched at #10 (2M views). The emotional Breaking the Silence: The Maria Soledad Case (Argentina) took #10 (1.3M views) on the Non-English Films List.
Kids and families were riveted by Jurassic World: Chaos Theory which returned for a second season at #6 (2.9M) on the English TV List, and hit the high notes with the Sing crew to secure #5 (5.9M views) on the English Films List. Families can keep the jam session going while also gearing up for Halloween with the new Sing: Thriller short and many other BOO-tiful suggestions to enjoy this holiday season with Netflix's collection of not-so-scary titles.
Korean titles continued to lead as four additional titles placed this week. Period epic Uprising maintained #3 (8.3M views) on the Non-English Films List. The raunchy drama A Virtuous Business secured #5 (1.6M views), limited-series Love Next Door nabbed #7 (1.5M views) and Season 2 of Gyeongseong Creature came in at #10 (.8M views).
