With its eyes to the future, the Pac-12 Conference announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Octagon to serve as the exclusive media rights advisor.

Through the partnership, Octagon will guide the Pac-12 through the evolving media rights landscape, ensuring the conference secures the best possible opportunities and strategic media rights partnerships for its member institutions, according to the official release from the conference office.

As we continue our process of building upon the Pac-12's 100-year legacy, we are thrilled to partner with a true leader in the sports media rights space in Octagon, said Pac-12 Conference Commissioner Teresa Gould. With eight amazing athletics programs and institutions, each with a rich and recent history of excellence, we look forward to formalizing strategic media rights partnerships that best showcase the amazing accomplishments of Pac-12 student-athletes as we usher in a new era.

It's a key step for the Pac-12 which, after retaining member institutions Oregon State and Washington State, have added new members over the past couple of months. The league has secured commitments from Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State to join the conference beginning with the 2026-27 season.

Octagon, a highly-respected agency in the sports media industry, will work directly with the Pac-12 to break down the college sports ecosystem and filter potential media partners through research and analysis. the organization has a deep history in advising clients in college sports, working with the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Atlantic 10 Conference, Big Ten Conference, Conference USA, West Coast Conference (WCC), and others.
