Toyota uses Ventuz installations at Dubai Motor Show Agency: three monkeys creative consulting fz llc

Toyota engages visitors with a wide variety of interactive real-time applications on their exhibition stand.

What is even better than a huge stand at one of the leading shows of the industry? A huge stand equipped with a variety of interactive multimedia installations. This was the strategy followed by premium car manufacturer Toyota at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show. The lead agency Gmasco hired 3monkeys to design and deliver a multitude of eye-catchers. Their software tool of choice: Ventuz.

At the center of the booth was a 15m by 4.5m LED wall. 3monkeys created fully dynamic content, which incorporated an extensive library of videos, messaging and even a live leaderboard from another installation on the stand. The entire show ran in an automated fashion, with individual templates for each segment of content. Additionally, the rundown could be interrupted for live messaging and presentations.

3monkeys also developed a playful installation called the Drift Wall. This touchscreen-based experience explored of the science of drifting, where parameters of steering lock and approach speed could be entered manually by the user resulting in an animation of the car drifting (or not!) around the corner.

The emerging story of hybrid cars was explained in an interesting and unusual application. A transparent LCD touch-screen was mounted on a dolly and could be moved around an actual Prius engine by the visitors. Depending on the position of the screen, relevant motor parts were highlighted on screen and additional information was shown.

3monkeys also used Ventuz to create an interactive stand guide on their proprietary Monkeybook, real-time graphics for the drift simulator including race management, scoreboards, registration and recording of the drive, and an interactive touch-table highlighting the features of every Toyota model.
