Ningbo delegation attend China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Trade Fair for 9 time

Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Peoples Government of Zhejiang Province and China International Trade Promotion Committee, the 30-day 9th China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Trade Fair was held in Yiwu International Exposition Centre on April 27. It is the ninth time for Ningbo delegation to attend the fair.

With the focus on "new industries, technology, products, concepts, crafts and designs", the fair will provide an opportunity for procurement negotiation and economic and trade cooperation. It is expected that over 90,000 specialized purchasers from home and abroad will attend the fair, including over 6,000 overseas buyers and 30 trade teams from over 100 countries and regions.

A total of 46 enterprises attended the fair with 84 booths and a total exhibition area of nearly 800 square meters, covering such areas as exhibition of "new industries, new technology, new products, new concepts, new crafts and new designs", consumer cultural products exhibition, fine culture and art exhibition, animation and copyright trade exhibition, crafts & art and intangible cultural heritage exhibition and traditional cultural products exhibition.

Participating enterprises include the outstanding enterprises in the traditional arts and crafts industry, emerging cultural industry and cultural creative industry, such animation and game enterprises as Minhe Entertainment, Shangfang Entertainment and Chinese Digital Animation, such leading cultural enterprises as Beifa, Chenglu and Aike, as well as the delegations from the Liangzhu Cultural Park, Cultural Creative Square, Fenghua Crafts & Art Associations, Ninghai Four-season Gallery and some Cixi celadon enterprises. In addition, also present at the fair are the cultural enterprises led by such provincial or municipal crafts & art masters as Fang Mengzhong, Ge anfei and Sun Maihua.

Compared with the previous sessions, this years fair witnesses great transformation and upgrading of Ningbo delegations. With the theme of innovation and development, Ningbo exhibitors focus on trade and services rather than exhibition by carrying out such activities as a new products release meeting, small-scale fairs, animation brand franchising, and a creative works contest sponsored by the supporting plan for innovations in cultural industry. To be specific, six enterprises will attend the new products release meeting to showcase the R & D capacity of cultural enterprises in Ningbo; five animation enterprises will attend the franchising meeting to extend the derivative values of animation products; 10 enterprises will conduct trade fairs to expand their markets home and abroad; and works by enterprises like Cixi GCC have been shortlisted in the Top 500 of the outstanding creative works contest sponsored by the national supporting plan for cultural industrial creation and talents.
