Marquis Media Partners LLP Builds on Succe by Doubling its Size

Marquis Media Partners, the specialist media consultancy working with clients across the globe has announced a major expansion of its partner line-up with the appointment of Emma Clifford, Andy Townend and Andy Griffee.

The three new partners, each experienced senior executives and acknowledged experts in their field, bring a wealth of hands-on industry knowledge spanning the public and commercial media sector, government, international program delivery and consultancy.

Emma Clifford was previously head of technology business change at ITV Plc and brings 25 years experience in the broadcast and media industry to MMP. She is experienced in delivering multi-million pound benefits via change projects and is particularly skilled in stakeholder engagement, people development and influencing large teams at all levels in complex media environments. Award winner, Clifford, also held senior operational roles at ITV News Group and the BBC.

Andy Townend has a proven track record in shaping and delivering complex national transformation programs with extensive international experience in the public service and commercial media sectors, government and major consultancies including EY and KPMG. In 2007, Townend was appointed by the Australian government to establish and lead the countrys successful AUD$1 billion digital switchover program. He is currently leading a 500 million euro broadband investment project at Telenet in Belgium.

Andy Griffee has advised a large number of international media companies about their moves into new broadcasting centres. These have included CCTV, NHK, RTE and MBC. As the director of the BBCs W1 Programme Griffee was in overall charge of the £1.046bn project to redevelop Broadcasting House, London and migrate more than 5,500 programme staff into it in a way which maximized financial and creative benefits. His team won the Association of Project Managements UK Programme of the Year Award for 2012. He was previously controller of BBC English Regions and head of BBC Birmingham between 2002-2009.
