The Film Academy introduces important changes to the rules governing the Goya Entre otras novedades, las categor as de Mejor Pel cula, Mejor Pel cula de Animaci n, Mejor Pel cula Documental, Mejor Pel cula Iberoamericana y Mejor Pel cula Europea, se conceder n por vez primera a empresas en lugar de personas f sicas.
La Junta Directiva de la Academia ha aprobado las bases de los 31 Premios Goya, mediante las que se establece que las pel culas de largometraje de ficci n, animaci n y documentales pueden presentar la inscripci n, as como el resto de la documentaci n y materiales, antes de las 14:00 horas del 14 de octubre de 2016 en la sede de la Academia. Por otra parte, las pel culas iberoamericanas y los cortometrajes disponen de un plazo de presentaci n de solicitudes que finaliza a las 14:00 horas del 30 de septiembre de 2016.
Entre las novedades para la pr xima convocatoria figura que las pel culas que opten a las candidaturas de gui n (original o adaptado) podr n poner el gui n completo en la p gina web oficial de los Premios Goya a disposici n de los acad micos y para su lectura por el p blico en general, y se regula los env os que, desde el marco de los premios y la Academia, pueden hacer a los acad micos las productoras de las pel culas candidatas a los Goya.
En cuanto a las categor as de Mejor Pel cula, Mejor Pel cula de Animaci n, Mejor Pel cula Documental, Mejor Pel cula Iberoamericana y Mejor Pel cula Europea, por primera vez el premio se conceder a una empresa (hasta ahora los destinatarios de los premios eran persona f sicas).
Las bases tambi n recogen que las pel culas iberoamericanas con nacionalidad espa ola pueden presentarse a todos los premios, excepto al de Mejor Pel cula. El productor mayoritario decidir si opta al premio a Mejor Pel cula Iberoamericana y renuncia al de Mejor Pel cula o al rev s.
Respecto a los cortometrajes documentales y de animaci n, estos tendr n tambi n que haber sido premiados por al menos un festival de la lista festivales y concursos se alada por la Academia y haber sido seleccionados por al menos tres, todo ello en la Secci n Oficial que califica para la inscripci n en los Goya; o haber sido seleccionado por, al menos, un festival internacional, no celebrado en Espa a, de los que figuran en el listado se alado por la Academia.
Los cortometrajes de ficci n podr n tambi n inscribirse, adem s de por haber ganado uno de los premios de los festivales de la lista elaborada por la Academia, si han sido seleccionados en la secci n oficial de al menos seis de ellos o haber sido seleccionados por al menos un festival internacional, no celebrado en Espa a de los que figuran en el listado se alado por la Academia.
El premio en las tres categor as de cortometrajes ser , a partir de esta edici n, para el director y para el productor.
