AAM Adds New Partners to Thunderstorm Platform
London, 5 April 2016 Arts Alliance Media (AAM), the global leader in digital cinema software and services, today announces the addition of three new partners to its Thunderstorm platform: Cheerfy, Incode Cinema and Smart Pricer.
Available immediately, these new partners will enable exhibitors to drive customer interactions and create personalised cinema experiences that today's customers crave.
AAM recently launched its Thunderstorm platform, a unique global online marketplace, to help exhibitors address key industry-wide challenges - creating engaging cinema experiences that attract and retain relevant customers, while also appealing to increasingly diverse audiences. By providing first-hand access to a portfolio of innovative software applications and technologies, exhibitors can enhance their customer interaction and ultimately drive revenues.
Key features and capabilities of the new Thunderstorm partners include:
Cheerfy - a customer engagement system that uses Wi-Fi technology to recognise customers in real-time, thus enabling exhibitors to deliver personalised customer experiences. By sharing customer profiles with employees in real-time, exhibitors can personally engage customers and deliver targeted, automatic messages (on customer arrival, departure or even on their birthday), as well as use customer data to better understand their customers' behaviour and needs. With Cheerfy, exhibitors are able to improve customer loyalty as well as their bottom line.
Incode Cinema - a digital signage solution that enables exhibitors to centrally manage their lobby displays, creating memorable cinema lobby experiences that keep a local presence. For example, exhibitors can automatically program separate promotions from day to night, or schedule a takeover of screens based on cinema showings. By minimising the time and effort to manage lobby screens, employees can spend more time engaging with customers.
Smart Pricer - a dynamic pricing software that uses innovative data science techniques to understand demand and optimise the ticket price mix. Similarly to airline ticket pricing, Smart Pricer uses real-time information to determine the optimal price mix for each show, based on an automatic demand prediction, current bookings and the time to show. This allows exhibitors to skim willingness to pay for high-demand shows and fill more seats for low demand shows. With Smart Pricer, exhibitors can increase revenue by 5-10% and predict attendance of each show up to a week in advance.
With AAM's Thunderstorm platform, exhibitors can investigate, source, purchase and manage a range of services that will enhance the overall cinema experience while driving new business opportunities. The company will be debuting Thunderstorm at CinemaCon 2016, with demos from its newest partners available on its stand (#2715A).
