He will focus on developing solutions that accelerate innovation and growth for Arqiva's customers through the use of new and emerging technologies

DAZN Group's Dom Wedgwood is joining Arqiva on 1st June as the company's chief technology officer.
He has also been appointed to the company's executive committee and will report to CEO Shuja Khan.
Wedgwood was senior vice president for broadcast technology and OTT playback experience at DAZN Group, where he had end-to-end accountability for the product management and technology teams across broadcast, network and streaming. Prior to DAZN, he was broadcast operations and technology director for Perform Group, managing services for sports rights holders and federations.
Speaking about his new role, Wedgwood said: It is a great time to be joining Arqiva. This business has a great track record of delivering innovation for its customers, and industry at large, and I'm looking forward to continuing that work.
This role has a broad and exciting scope. Building on Arqiva's reputation for delivering world-class services, my team and I will be focused on developing solutions that accelerate innovation and growth for our customers through the use of new and emerging technologies.
Shuja Khan, CEO, Arqiva, added: Dom joins us at an exciting time and I'm immensely proud that we have someone of his calibre joining Arqiva. Having a strong customer perspective is critical for our new product portfolio across broadcast and utilities. The transition to IP and cloud is a key enabler within broadcast and media, and Dom's direct experience of both these areas is an important factor in his appointment. He will also super-charge our efforts in our mission to help the utility sector digitise over the next decade
Dom will be accountable for a technology function that enables Arqiva to provide best-in-class propositions to all our customers, regardless of industry and irrespective of where they are on their digital journey.
