S o Paulo, January 3, 2025 - A series about dreams, conquests and hustles: today, the fifth and final season of Sintonia receives a special behind-the-scenes video featuring interviews with Christian Malheiros (Nando), Bruna Mascarenhas (Rita) and Jottap (Doni). In this previously-unreleased footage the three actors get emotional as they recall the launch of the shoot in 2018, and discuss the legacy and scale of Netflixs biggest original Brazilian franchise, nationally and worldwide.
I joined the cast of Sintonia to tell my story. Its also about a cousin or a friend who I unfortunately lost to drug trafficking. I didnt get into crime, but I know these people", says Christian Malheiros. The filming of the last season was very special for all of us, it had that air of farewell about it from the start," affirmed Jottap . Weve made an incredible series and I dare say, in my opinion, that the fifth season is the best yet. The characters have matured and weve matured along with them, adds Bruna Mascarenhas.
The fifth season of Sintonia takes place four years after we last left Nando, Rita and Doni, as they face potentially life-changing challenges. While Nando carries out another risky job, Rita achieves her dream of becoming an attorney and faces a major professional dilemma. Meanwhile, Doni is surprised by an unsettling visit from his past and has to make a crucial business decision for the label VA Records. With new disasters and emotions cranked up to 10, the trios friendship will be put to the test one last time.
Produced by Gullane, Sintonia is based on an original idea by KondZilla and was created along with Felipe Braga and Guilherme Quintella. The fifth season episodes are directed by Johnny Ara jo, Daniela Carvalho and Denis Cisma, with executive producers Caio Gullane and Fabiano Gullane.
