S o Paulo, September 6, 2024 - piau and Netflix, in collaboration with Janela Livraria and the publishing house Mapa Lab , announce the Casa de Hist rias for the 22nd edition of the Festa Liter ria Internacional de Paraty, which runs October 9-13. The partnership aims to celebrate great storytelling in its many forms, including literature, journalism and audiovisuals. A rich program will be offered, with daily events.

On the occasion of its debut at the event, Netflix will share news of upcoming original productions based on literary masterpieces from Brazil and Latin America. Through its participation at FLIP, Netflix seeks to explore the power of stories that transcend the page and come to life in new formats.

The magazine piau will bring together its journalists and celebrated writers to discuss the creative writing process, in terms of both content and form, in the development of a narrative.

In 2024, the literary label Janela Mapa Lab will be attending Paraty for the third time in a row, with the aim of fostering discussions and reflections, as well as of focusing on new talents and on other forms of dialogue between books, writers and readers. One of the great hits of last years edition was the launch of Season One of Aqui Agora, a project involving 18 titles and close to 30 writers. This year, Season Two will be presented to readers - with the launch of 12 fiction, non-fiction and poetry titles.

A space for conversations and connections, Casa de Hist rias will also be a gathering place for those who are passionate about powerful storytelling in its countless formats. The full program of speakers and panel discussions will be announced shortly.
