The Beginning of a New Utopia Starts Soon!

New World is an unscripted series that tells the story of unexpected events that take place in a utopia full of survival missions, competitions, and twists through a new type of simulation. Six entertainers are invited to a mysterious place that feels like a movie or fairytale. The intriguing series is sure to captivate people of all ages.

The cast of New World is quite impressive and full of great entertainers. Lee Seung-gi who won the Best Male Variety Performer at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards is a multi-talented entertainer who can act, sing, and excel in variety programs. Eun Ji-won, who continues to be a fan favorite amongst viewers, has appeared in many well-known variety programs such as 2 Days & 1 Night and New Journey to the West. Kim Hee-chul, who is an experienced emcee, also appears on popular shows like Men on a Mission and The Iron Squad. Cho Bo-ah, who received much love for her acting in Tale of the Nine Tailed will display her energetic personality through the new series. Park Na-rae who has her own Netflix stand-up show Park Na-rae: Glamour Warning, also won the highly coveted Grand Prize at the 2019 MBC Entertainment Awards. Kai, who is a member of the famous K-pop group EXO, has impressed with his variety skills on a noteworthy episode of Men on a Mission. These well-rounded, talented entertainers unite for a unique team with versatile appeal. Watch the six members as they experience unexpected events beyond our imagination in a utopia full of everything you could desire.

The series will be led by producing director Cho Hyo-jin, who is known for creating the beloved program Running Man, and produced by Company SangSang, the production company behind the Busted! series as well as Twogether.
