Westfield, Ma., - Myers, a pioneer in broadcast management solutions, has announced a new partnership with Germany-based Public Broadcaster, Deutsche Welle (DW). This partnership will make schedule information and metadata for the International Broadcaster's English channel available to ProTrack clients throughout the USA - including all US-based PBS member stations. This new partnership automates the download of DW's schedule and program metadata directly into a station's ProTrack scheduling environment.

We are continually focused on how we can better serve our customers and giving them the opportunity to expand their content choices regionally, nationally, and internationally, is key, said Crist Myers, President and CEO, Myers. By partnering with us, schedule information and metadata for DW's English channel will be made readily available to all of our ProTrack customers who have limited resources yet a large and diverse audience to serve. We admire DW's mission to promote press freedom and freedom of expression and look forward to bringing that content option to our users.

DW's schedules and programming titles are entered into a cloud-based version of ProTrack by the Myers Programming Team. Once entered, the content is uploaded to Myers' ProLink metadata distribution service where it is then available for download directly into a subscribing station's ProTrack scheduling environment. Giving stations the ability to quickly download schedules and the required program metadata eliminates the need for the station to manually enter the data into their system.
