Yankees All-Stars to Call Play by Play for Yankees-Red Sox Matchup

Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, Alex Rodriguez and play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt will call the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game on Saturday, June 6th according to The Athletic. Jeter, Ortiz, Rodriguez and Burkhardt are usually in the Fox Sports studio featured during the All-Star Game, the playoffs and the World Series. Rodriguez was a weekly game analyst on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, while Jeter and Ortiz have never been game analysts.

ESPN Deportes Signs Former NBA Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Fabricio Oberto to Multi-Year Extension

Veteran analyst to continue as one of ESPN's lead Spanish-language voices for NBA coverage across ESPN Deportes in the U.S. and ESPN in Latin America

ESPN has reached a multi-year contract extension with NBA analyst Fabricio Oberto. He will continue as one of ESPN's lead Spanish-language voices for NBA coverage across ESPN Deportes in the U.S. and ESPN in Latin America.

Oberto will continue as a game analyst throughout the regular season, Playoffs and NBA Finals, while also contributing regularly to studio programming, including NBA Esta Noche.

Fabricio brings credibility, experience and a strong connection with NBA fans across the U.S. and Latin America, said Rodolfo Martinez, Senior Vice President, International and ESPN Deportes Production. His perspective as NBA champion and Olympic gold medalist continues to elevate our coverage, and we're pleased he will remain a key part of our Spanish-language presentation.

Oberto joined ESPN in 2015 following a distinguished professional playing career. In the NBA, he won an NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2007 and played six seasons with the Spurs, Washington Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers.

A native of Las Varillas, Argentina, Oberto was a key member of Argentina's Golden Generation, helping lead the national team to a gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games and a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympic Games. His international career also included top-level professional experience in Argentina, Spain and Greece. In 2019, he was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.

Continuing its coverage of the NBA Playoffs, ESPN Deportes will present the NBA Eastern Conference Finals once the matchup is set, followed by exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the NBA Finals.

Most Valuable Promotions and Netflix Announced On-Air Talent for Blockbuster Professional MMA Emvent Rousey vs. Carano

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix announced the broadcast team for the blockbuster MMA mega-event Rousey vs. Carano, as well as all fight week events, that began on Wednesday, May 13 and culminated on Saturday, May 16 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, CA.

On Saturday, May 16, the Rousey vs. Carano preliminary card began at 6:00pm ET / 3:00pm PT on Netflix's Tudum and MVP's YouTube Channel, with the main card starting at 9:00pm ET / 6:00pm PT, live only on Netflix. MVP and Netflix's fight night coverage featured a powerhouse lineup of broadcasting veterans and combat sports legends featuring Netflix's lead anchor Elle Duncan, MMA champion Tyron Woodley, and journalist Ariel Helwani as the main desk hosts. Guests joined for expert commentary and analysis including MMA champions Jon Jones, Cain Velasquez, and Cat Zingano.

The cageside team was led by the iconic voice of Mauro Ranallo on blow-by-blow, with expert analysis provided by MMA powerhouse Kenny Florian. Sibley Scoles served as a reporter, providing updates from backstage and the crowd alongside Helwani. Rules and scoring was led by Sean Wheelock and the night was emceed by in-cage announcer Kody Big Mo Mommaerts.

Ahead of Rousey vs. Carano, Netflix and MVP hosted a series of fight week events open to the public.

On Wednesday, May 13, the MVP Open Workout took place at Venice Beach Basketball Courts, featuring Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Francis Ngannou, Philipe Lins, Salahdine Parnasse, Junior dos Santos, Namo Fazil, Jake Babian, and Adriano Moraes. Kody Big Mo Mommaerts was emcee and entertainment personality Sibley Scoles served as cageside reporter. The event streamed live onMVP's YouTube Channel and Netflix Sports' YouTube Channel at 9:00pm ET / 6:00pm PT.

On Thursday, May 14, MVP and Netflix hosted the official final Press Conference for Rousey vs. Carano at Intuit Dome Outdoor Plaza. The press conference, hosted by Ariel Helwani, featured the final war of words between Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano, Nate Diaz, Mike Perry, Francis Ngannou, and Philipe Lins, alongside all undercard fighters, and streamed live on MVP's YouTube Channel and Netflix Sports' YouTube Channel.

On Friday, May 15, MVP and Netflix hosted the Rousey vs. Carano public weigh-in at Intuit Dome Outdoor Plaza, featuring all fighters, with Sibley Scoles as host with analyst support from Kenny Florian and Tyron Woodley, and additional reporting from Ariel Helwani, along with commentary from Cain Velasquez.
