Esta duod cima edici n tendr lugar los d as 17, 18 y 19 de abril en el marco del 21 Festival de M laga y estar organizada por el propio Festival y el Ayuntamiento de M laga, con el patrocinio del ICAA (Instituto de la Cinematograf a y de las Artes Audiovisuales); ICEX Espa a Exportaci n e Inversiones, Junta de Andaluc a y EGEDA (Entidad de Gesti n de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales).
Este evento, para el que se abre ahora la inscripci n hasta el 9 de marzo, est dise ado como plataforma internacional para la promoci n del cine espa ol. Su principal objetivo es fomentar las ventas internacionales de nuestro cine y ha conseguido posicionarse como una cita indispensable en el calendario de los mercados internacionales.
Durante los tres d as de duraci n del mercado, compradores internacionales, agentes de ventas y programadores de festivales tendr n la oportunidad de visionar los largometrajes m s recientes. Asimismo, los productores y los m s destacados representantes del sector audiovisual contar n con un espacio de negocio denominado Industry Club habilitado para la negociaci n, venta y el networking de las empresas participantes.
Los Spanish Screenings - M laga de Cine son el proyecto central de la nueva Zona de Industria del Festival de M laga, el MAFIZ (M laga Festival Industry Zone), que est constituido por seis eventos que promueven la financiaci n, coproducci n, distribuci n y venta del cine en espa ol. El apoyo e impulso al nuevo talento audiovisual latinoamericano es el objetivo transversal de esta amplia rea industrial, que cuenta con el patrocinio y apoyo de FIPCA (Federaci n Iberoamericana de Productores Cinematogr ficos y Audiovisuales).

Actividades Spanisg ScreeningsEntre las actividades que se llevar n a cabo se encuentran:
- Screenings: sesiones de proyecci n en los cines Yelmo Vialia M laga, d nde los compradores internacionales podr n visionar las pel culas espa olas de reciente producci n (a partir del ltimo cuatrimestre de 2017), as como pel culas seleccionadas en la Secci n Oficial secci n ZonaZine del Festival de M laga.
- Industry Club: espacio de reuniones, destinado a productores, distribuidores internacionales y participantes en general.
- Videoteca online: Plataforma online para el visionado de pel culas por parte de los compradores internacionales. Tambi n existir un espacio f sico habilitado con dispositivos electr nicos que permitan el visionado en el Industry Club.
