Showmax confirms Real Housewives of Durban' season 4Viewers of the much-loved reality series Real Housewives of Durban' have been waiting with bated breath for the fourth season.

Following several questions from fans, and reports from bloggers, Showmax has confirm to The South African that the fourth season of the highly-anticipated reality series Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) is in production.

We can confirm that the new season of The Real Housewives of Durban is currently in production, Showmax said.

However, the premiere date and cast members are yet to revealed.

NEW RHOD CAST MEMBERS? Last week, the much-loved show trended on social media after controversial entertainment vlogger Musa Khawula alleged that there are four new cast members.

They are: Wedding and event designer, Londy MaZwide. She is the founder Andimahle Building Events which has planned and produced approximately 300 weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations locally and internationally. The businesswoman is also a wife and mother.

-- Former SABC 1 continuity presenter and an ACTRESS, Zama Ngcobo has reportedly also joined the RHOD cast. Zama is famous for character, Tabitha, on the public broadcaster's soap opera, Generations, in 2012. She also has a role on Showmax's Ayeye Stripped. The businesswoman, who is a former Ukhozi FM presenter, is also an executive producer and a wife.

Ameigh Thompson, founder of Fundisiwe Foundation, is also rumoured to be joining RHOD. Her foundation assists those in need of sanitary pads, school shoes, food, blankets and other essentials. Ameigh, a maritime graduate, is also a mother to a baby girl and boy. In addition, and according to the rumour mill, she is the ex-fianc e of Sphamandla Mabonga - musician and former RHOD star Londie London's boyfriend.

-- The fourth lady rumoured to be joining RHOD is businesswoman, musician and MC, Angel Ndlela, of Angel Ndlela Group. Her company renders services in construction, transport, home and garden maintenance. The influencer and self-proclaimed baddie also owns Angel Ndlela Couture and Bridal Wear. She is also known for having been romantically involved with Blaq Diamond member, Ndumiso Ndu Browns Mdletshe.

WHO IS NOT RETURNING? There have been reports that businesswoman and dancer Annie Mthembu will not return for season four after being on RHOD since it's inception.

Other cast members, actress Mbali Ngiba and businesswoman Maria Valaskatzis, were also not part of the list circulating on social media. There is also no mention of messy and controversial friend of the show, Sane Bhengu.

On the upside, however, it has been alleged that favourites, Sorisha Naidoo and Nonku Williams, who have also been on the show since the first season, will reportedly return. Also reportedly returning is Jojo Robinson and Slee Ndlovu.
