Disguise to Showcase Future of Event Visuals at LDI 2025

Disguise, the industry-leading company powering the world's biggest live performances, is partnering with pioneering LED wall manufacturer DVS to give attendees a sneak peek into the future of live event visuals at this year's LDI.

Showgoers will be able to get hands-on with Disguise's X1 solution, which will be exhibited in the US for the first time at DVS booth 2223. Developed for professionals delivering small or medium events, including concerts, DJ sets, theater productions and corporate experiences, X1 works by allowing users to plug a license key into their laptop to instantly access Disguise's award-winning Designer software. Both real-time and pre-rendered 4K show visuals can then be imported into Designer from any real-time graphics tool, all without any proprietary media servers required. This makes the solution far more cost-effective for smaller shows, and its portability makes it ideal to bring on tour.

For a more in-depth look at how a multi-stop tour runs, Disguise is also hosting a fireside chat at LDI's XLIVE event. Life on the Road: Lessons From Coldplay's World Tour will see screens director and creative associate, Joshua Koffman, join Disguise's product manager, Ollie Newland, to discuss his experience working on Coldplay's colossal three-and-a-half-year Music of the Spheres World Tour. Covering everything from team collaboration to remaining creatively agile while on a long-term tour, Joshua will be sharing his on-the-ground insights as well as top tips for technical teams working on similar shows.
