SYOK tambah akses konten indie untuk belia menerusi Rakita
Astro Radio baru-baru ini telah memperluas akses kepada kandungankandungan berjiwa muda khusus untuk golongan belia dan peminat muzik indie ( independent ) atau bebas menerusi saluran Radio dan Podcast Rakita di aplikasi SYOK. Rakita 107.9 #MuzikPalingLit (bersiaran dalam Bahasa Melayu) telah dimuatkan dan mula bersiaran sejak April 2022 di aplikasi SYOK.
Rakita (Radio Kita Sdn. Bhd.), yang bersiaran sejak Januari 2019 telah mendapat tempat di hati pendengar dan pengikut yang rata-ratanya dalam lingkungan umur belia iaitu 15 hingga 34 tahun kerana sentiasa menerbitkan kandungan-kandungan terkini dan bermanfaat yang dekat dengan jiwa muda.
Melalui terbitan variasi kandungan-kandungan yang memfokuskan belia seperti segmen bual bicara dengan bakat-bakat muda, dokumentari khas untuk peminat komuniti indie, siri podcast bicarawara agenda-agenda belia, serta memainkan lagu-lagu dengan pilihan genre yang unik seperti muzik indie yang terdiri daripada beberapa sub-genre seperti pop, ballad, rock, hip hop, metal, punk dan macam-macam lagi. Rakita amat dikenali dalam kalangan peminat-peminat indie khususnya komuniti muzik indie sebagai sebuah platform media yang menyokong dan menerajui industri indie.
Sejak Rakita tampil dengan carta lagu indie yang diberi nama Carta Indie Kita dan juga carta lagu Inggeris tempatan yang dipanggil Lokalah Chart Show, jenama media tersebut terus menjadi tumpuan para peminat muzik indie tanah air. Kemudian pada tahun 2020, Rakita bersama dengan rakan-rakan strategik yang berkongsi visi yang sama dalam membangunkan industri muzik indie tanah air telah mengumumkan pelancaran Anugerah Lagu Indie (ALI) yang julung-julung kalinya dianjurkan di Malaysia. ALI 2020 telah mencatatkan sebanyak 630 penyertaan lagu manakala ALI2021 menunjukkan peningkatan kepada 757 penyertaan lagu. Sambutan memberangsangkan ini telah membuktikan bahawa kelompok pemuzik bebas mempunyai pengikutnya yang tersendiri dan sangat bersemangat untuk merebut peluang bagi menonjolkan bakat mereka kepada dunia. Untuk makluman anda, Anugerah Lagu Indie 2022 bakal menemui peminat tidak lama lagi dan peringkat awal dijangka bermula Ogos nanti.
Ahmed Faris Amir, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Rakita berkata, Rakita ingin menjadi suara golongan belia Malaysia yang kurang mendapat perhatian dengan berkongsi bakat, pemikiran serta pendapat mereka. Seterusnya meningkatkan kesedaran orang ramai dan minat mereka ke arah gaya hidup progresif dengan penyampaian gaya belia. Sebab itu kami sentiasa mencari ruang untuk meluaskan akses dan menambah saluran bagi memudahkan orang ramai menikmati variasi kandungan-kandungan unik berpaksikan komuniti indie yang ditonjolkan di Rakita. Tinggi harapan kami supaya dengan pertambahan saluran kepada pendengar online menerusi SYOK, bilangan pendengar online Rakita dapat ditingkatkan. Terima kasih kepada Kenny Ong dan pasukan (Astro Radio) selaku rakan strategik yang memberi peluang ini untuk kami menjangkau kepada lebih ramai pendengar dan pengikut yang berjiwa muda seperti kami.
Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Astro Radio, Kenny Ong pula berkata, Kami amat teruja dengan kerjasama strategik yang terjalin bersama Rakita. Menerusi kolaborasi ini, kami dapat menjangkau komuniti kecil (niche community) iaitu para peminat indie di Malaysia. Para pendengar SYOK dan belia di Malaysia, yang merangkumi sebahagian daripada 17.1 juta pendengar mingguan kami, kini dapat menikmati variasi kandungan segar dari Rakita seperti pilihan genre muzik dan podcast-podcast yang pelbagai, menarik dan unik, di aplikasi SYOK sekarang.
Selain daripada Anugerah Lagu Indie, Rakita turut menerbitkan variasi konten khusus untuk belia seperti Suara Lit, iaitu sebuah segmen bual bicara inspirasi bersama bakat-bakat belia dalam sukan, hiburan, perniagaan, pendidikan dan banyak lagi; Bisnes Muda Mudi, iaitu sebuah segmen temubual eksklusif bersama usahawan-usahawan belia; Akar Muda, iaitu sebuah segmen untuk membincangkan isu, dasar dan program-program belia serta lain-lain.
