For the first time, fans will be able to watch live MLB games on Netflix courtesy of a new three-year deal announced today. Beginning in 2026, Netflix will stream multiple live MLB events each year, including a single game on Opening Night, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, and an additional special event game each year, starting with MLB at Field of Dreams in 2026.

MLB Network's Emmy Award-winning production team will produce Opening Night, the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, and MLB at Field of Dreams in partnership with Netflix's production team.

We started with critically acclaimed documentaries, deepening the existing global passion for baseball, says Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria of the deal. Now we are seizing that moment by bringing massive cultural spectacles - from Opening Night to the Home Run Derby - directly to our members, reinforcing Netflix as the ultimate home for both the story and the sport.

MLB has a diverse group of exciting international players competing in our biggest events, which will create an appealing offering to Netflix subscribers around the world.

As previously announced, Netflix will also deliver live coverage of all 47 games of the World Baseball Classic to its audience in Japan starting in 2026.

On Opening Day, the New York Yankees - led by seven-time All-Star, three-time American League MVP, and Northern California native Aaron Judge - will venture to the Bay Area to face three-time All-Star Rafael Devers and the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday March 25, 2026.

Streaming live from Dyersville, IA, on Aug. 13, 2026, MLB will bring a regular-season game to the iconic Field of Dreams movie set for the first time in four years. The 2026 MLB at Field of Dreams game will feature All-Star outfielder Byron Buxton and the Minnesota Twins taking on eight-time All-Star and two-time MVP Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies.

The 2026 T-Mobile Home Run Derby will take place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Monday, July 13, 2026.
