Durham Miracle League Field Opens, Supported by CBC and the Bulls

Retired Corp Vice President of Special Projects George Habel played an integral role in making the Miracle League Field in Durham happen in his final years at Capitol Broadcasting. He was excited to be in attendance on opening day.

Five years in the making, Durham Bulls Miracle League Field premiered this morning, he celebrated on social media. Rain paused, the sun broke thru remarkable! Miracle League of the Triangle. Worthy of your support. PLAY BALL!

The Durham Bulls and CBC led the way to make the field a possibility, making a significant donation, helping with fundraising as well as construction design and planning.

Corp Senior Vice President Michael Goodmon enjoyed being part of the project and was happy to take part in opening day.

Had the pleasure of catching the inaugural first pitch for the Miracle League of the Triangle and their grand opening of the Durham Bulls Miracle League Field in Durham! said Goodmon. The field is located at the corner of Blackwell Street and Morehead Avenue, across the intersection from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
