5000 euros donated to FC Augsburg for its work with young players

Meitingen, November 30, 2012. Football passion meets passion for carbon: the FC Augsburg football team, coaches, and manager were in Meitingen for the second time as guests of SGL Group, the exclusive sponsor of FCA and namegiver to its stadium.

On behalf of SGL, Armin Bruch, management board member, and Reinhard Janta, site manager, welcomed the FCA team, along with Markus Weinzierl, head coach, Peter Bircks, managing director, and Jrgen Rollmann, manager, to the SGL Group Forum. After a short tour, representatives of FCA and SGL Group covered various topics in a round of discussions.

Armin Bruch: We are delighted at FCA's visit to us, which, above all, gives employees the chance to experience their club live. After FCA's first visit last year, the team started on a run of success that eventually ensured the club stayed in the first division of the Bundesliga. It would be great if history repeated itself! But FCA knows that we are behind the club whatever happens.

As a token of SGL's support, Armin Bruch made a donation of 5000 euros to FCA for its work with young players.

SGL employees and 30 young guest footballers from TSV Meitingen had plenty of opportunity to talk and be photographed with FCA players during the ensuing autograph session.
