Rise launches 2024 global mentoring programme

Advocacy group for gender diversity in the broadcast media technology sector Rise has launched its 2024 global mentoring programme.

This year's mentoring initiative will span the UK, Europe, ANZ, APAC, India, and North America, and builds on two mentoring programmes in 2023, which supported 125 mentees globally.

Each regional cohort will follow a shared agenda, said Rise, with the incorporation of tailored enhancements to ensure its relevance to the unique dynamics of the local territory.

The schedule will feature a combination masterclasses and networking events, while participants will also have the opportunity to connect with other mentees across Rise chapters.

Donna Smith, Managing Director at Rise said: The impact of the Rise mentoring initiative extends far beyond the duration of the programme, it offers a valuable community that is invested in the growth and development of all participants. Previous mentees have shared inspiring success stories, highlighting career advancements, expanded networks, and increased confidence. The programme will continue to evolve based on the needs of both our mentees and mentors as well as our sponsors and supporters.
