Talented actress Khabonina Qubeka, who is known for her roles in Muvhango, Generations: The Legacy and Shaka Ilembe has joined the cast of Magaeng.

KHABONINA QUBEKA IN MAGAENG' TVSA reports that the Shaka Ilembe actress Khabonina Qubeka plays the role of Zama Ndaba in the Mzansi Magic comedy-drama series Magaeng.

Qubeka is joined by former The Queen actor Themba Ndaba, who plays her husband Bheki Ndaba, a manipulative and greedy husband, whose life takes a dramatic turn as the police close in on him.

The comedy-drama series revolves around Zama, who is in witness protection after deciding to appear on a reality show and putting herself and her family in danger.

Other guest appearances include The River actress Tinah Mnumzana, former Isibaya actor Sdumo Mtshali, former Generations Kagiso Rakosa as well as Phupho Gumede and Lethabo Mathatho from The Real Housewives franchise.

Popular Lingashoni, Generations and The Queen star Thato Molamu plays the role of Thabang, the local police captain, who aims to protect the Ndaba family's secret.

HER ROLE IN SHAKA ILEMBE' The Magaeng actress Khabonina Qubeka, who played a witch, Oby Phakade in Generations: The Legacy also plays a witch, Queen Ntombazi in Shaka iLembe.

Queen Ntombazi is mother to the great Ndwandwe King Zwide kaLanga's (played by Wiseman Ncube). She was a powerful and enigmatic, feared by others as a witch.

She dreams of building an empire and uses her formidable intellect and cunning to fight for the prosperity of her people, according to DStv.
