How to Share Clips for Approval ...

This is a quick guide to show you how to Share clips from a Project to anyone in the world, via an email through Aframe.

Firstly, go to Aframe in your internet browser to enter your Username and Password:

When you login, you arrive on your Dashboard. You will see a list of Projects, click on the Project you wish to upload into.

When you go into the Project you will land on the Media page. Click on the clip(s) you would like Share you can send a clip, multiple clips or a collection.

Once you have made your selection, click the Share button.

Here is a quick overview of the options for your Share Link:

You will see that you now have three options.

The Create a link and request approval ' option allows you to paste the email addresses in and it requires the recipient to login. When the recipient receives the link, they will have the option to Accept or Reject the contents of the link and give you feedback all in one place.

Once you have set your preferences for the link, click Create a link and request approval '. You will see a new box to the right side. Here you can enter the email addresses of the recipients. You can also edit the body of the email if you wish, then simply click Request Approval' to send.

Share Link Management Navigate to your Share links page:

Here you have a list of all the links sent through Aframe. At the top of the list you can see the link I created in the example above. If you clip on the Share Link title it will take you to the link. Click the blue information button to see more information about the clip you sent. Click the red button on the far right to immediately expire the link.

The Share Link This is what your link looks like to the recipient:

The download button will only appear if you enabled download of an original file and / or the proxy file, the same applies to the expiry at the top of the page.

Review and Approval Status Once the recipient has received the link and marked it as Approved or Rejected, you can check the feedback. On the Share Link management page you will see that the status of the thumb icon will change depending on the feedback provided:

If you send the link to multiple people and one person Rejects it, it will appear as Rejected, telling you that there is an action required.

This is what your link looks like to the recipient. The download button will only appear if you enabled download of an original file and / or the proxy file.

Review and Approval Feedback When the recipient clicks on Approve or Reject, they will have the opportunity to add a comment. Everything they enter is logged as metadata against the clip, making it instantly searchable. Go to the Share Link page, press the blue i information button to see the feedback.
