Brainstorm keeps growing in the U.S.A 12 April 2016

Television broadcasters and universities alike choose Brainstorm's software for their current production

NAB 2016, booth 4617 Brainstorm US has gotten off on the right foot with 2016. New clients with very interesting profiles have joined the Brainstorm family since January: Triode Media Group, V Channel, Pasadena Media and the California State University. Furthermore, CNBC has renewed the maintenance of their existing over 50 eStudio licenses for another two years. With many more opportunities in the pipeline, 2016 offers a very promising prospect for Brainstorm.

Triode Media group has chosen Brainstorm for their brand new facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Triode Media, a Tricaster user, wanted to stand out from all the other Tricaster-only virtual studio facilities by enhancing their production values in order to offer something unique and "game-changing". Infinity Set was their preferred solution, due to its ability to integrate with a Tricaster environment; each of the 3 cameras has their own real-time render workstation so the Tricaster operator sees a full composite real-time render for every camera in Tricaster, not just talent on a green screen. Triode Media is also able to record ISOs for every camera with real-time rendered set and talent in case there is need to do post production work.

"Triode chose Brainstorm after an extensive search because of their service platform and the TrackFree aspect of Infinity Set. TrackFree provides a means to create very realistic camera movements without having to have camera tracking systems" said Peter Scudner, Chairman of Triode Media Group.

Brainstorm's products are intended for a wide variety of users. In this regard, Pasadena Media is a community broadcasting channel in Pasadena, California. Infinity Set will also be used to enhance their existing Tricaster installation.

Also in California, V Channel is a television broadcast channel located in Burbank. Their virtual studio of choice has been Infinity Set, with Aston for on-air graphics with a Photoshop plugin. V Channel employs Brainstorm software for their shopping channel broadcast in the U.K. and the U.S. Brainstorm's OnDemand was also purchased in order to take care of playout automation of on-air graphics.

Brainstorm's products are able to meet requirements beyond the traditional broadcast sector. The California State University, located in Carson, California, will make use of Infinity Set in order to teach students about real-time 3D virtual studio productions. 2016 marks the first year in which this university will be offering studio production classes thanks to Brainstorm.
