Four K Productions LLC, a recently launched production company specializing in the development, production, and distribution of original broadcast content shot and post-produced in the 4K/UltraHD format, has just sold its first original TV series, entitled Mix, to a major 4K TV manufacturer. Said Williamson, We are delighted to announce the fact that Four K Productions is one of the very first - and very few --independent 4K content producers to have successfully sold an original television series to a major 4K TV manufacturer. We had to pass rigorous quality control standards to close this sale. We've delivered the first two 30-minute episodes of our new show Mix,' and we are hopefully awaiting orders for additional new episodes.

In related news, Four K Founder/President Kevin Williamson was a featured Panelist and Guest Speaker during the recent MIP TV 2014 Conference in Cannes, France. On April 7, he appeared on a session entitled The New Age of Storytelling, along with co-speakers Giuliano Berretta, President, DBW
Communications, Italy, and Norbert H elzle, CCO Europe, SES Astra, Luxembourg. Williamson also produced a special presentation of his show Mix on April 9th at MIP TV's 4K Theater. The description of the screening was as
follows: USA-based Four K Productions are busy producing 4K factual shows. They'll showcase Mix', which covers the art of the cocktail', and was filmed in some of the hottest nightclubs and bars in Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas.
In other company news, Four K is actively in development on a slate of original travel and lifestyle productions in the 4K format. These include:
MIX : Four K Productions' 30-minute 4K series Mix captures the essence of the modern day Mixology Movement. The series focuses on the preparation, ingredients and the making of signature mixed drinks offered to customers at popular bars, nightclubs, restaurants and saloons across the United States.
Automotive Programs: Four K is working on a series of automobile-themed programs. These include a show featuring celebrities showing off their favorite vehicles; a show following a Formula One race team, and a show about unique and rare automobiles.
Travel Programs: Four K is developing several programs that will explore a number of sites along the Central and West Coasts of California. These include a show about the wine country, the history of Art Deco buildings in Los Angeles, a tour of famous California parks, and a Santa Barbara lifestyle series.
