A HUGE CHRISTMAS THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS

This year we provided a magical Christmas for thousands of children, young people and their families so they could enjoy a sense of belonging and hope at what is otherwise a particularly challenging time of year. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who helped us during this busy period. Without the teams of volunteers that filled our offices wrapping presents, the volunteers on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the incredible fundraising undertaken with such generosity by our supporters, we would simply not have been able to give our children and young people the Christmas they deserved.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS!

Struggling to think of decent New year's resolutions you'll actually stick to?Why not sign up to one of our fantastic sporting events this year and fundraise for Kids Company? We have put together a calendar of sporting challenges stretching right across 2014, including marathons, mountain hikes and even the infamous Spartan Race, to give you the chance to support us whilst keeping fighting fit! PICO ANETO - THE KIDS COMPANY PYRENEES OVERSEAS CHALLENGE

23RD - 25TH MAY 2014

Join Kids Company on our inaugural attempt to conquer the highest peak in the Pyrenees! That's a cool 3,404 metres by the way

A two-day ascent promises glorious weather and a sprinkling of snow cover on the glacier meaning ice axes, crampons and ropes will be necessary. The final ascent will begin by torchlight as we head for the gullies and then on to the eventual steep, airy traverse to the peak.

COAST TO COAST CYCLE CHALLENGE

18TH - 20TH JULY 2014

The Coast to Coast cycle crosses the North of England from West to East, starting in Whitehaven, Cumbria and finishing in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. We start with our back wheel in the Atlantic and dip our front wheel in the North Sea in celebration of a true coast to coast epic! We'll be cycling over 140 miles in three days, and taking on some of the toughest ascents the UK has to offer. This cycle isn't just for the seasoned pros, and should be achievable by most with the right amount of training, but it will be one of the biggest physical challenges you encounter!

We are delighted to invite you to an art exhibition hosted by ArtGemini Prize. 56 shortlisted works will be exhibited with 20% of the sales donated to Kids Company.

A private viewing will take place on 23 January 6-9pm at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery and the exhibition will run until the 7th February.

The Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon takes place at the historic, world famous Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit and is a great race for those of you who want to take the step up from shorter races or as part of your training for a marathon.

Join in with colleagues, friends or family and make a day of it! You could even make it a competition to see who can raise the most sponsorship.

Registration is just £15.00 and we suggest each participant raise £150.00 or more in sponsorship.
