VSN proves in Chile its dedication to the Latin American broadcast market 02 June 2014The attendants to Tecn 2014, an important broadcast tradeshow held annually in Santiago de Chile (in May), had the chance to know firsthand the highlights of VSN s suite of solutions, from MAM and BPM to Live Production or MCR automation features. This way, VSN consolidates its commitment and dedication to Latin America as a crucial market in its expansion strategy.

Tecn , the biggest event dedicated to technology and innovation for the Chilean broadcast industry, was celebrated in Santiago on May 27th and 28th. And it was the stage where VSN has shown to the market its renewed suite of solutions. For example, its MAM-BPM solution, VSNEXPLORER, that comes with improvements in its search features, the chance to send contents to social networks and WebTV and native integration with Sony s ODA library. VSNEXPLORER is also cloud-available, and has UMP transfer acceleration protocol integrated, something that makes it one of the most complete solutions in the market for distributed broadcast environments and contents exchange platforms.

Apart from VSNEXPLORER, VSN has taken to Chile its News & Live Production solution. Visitors had the chance to see a demo of VSNLIVECOM, MOS compatible studio automation, with up to 16 channels control (4 A/B/C/D, 4 auxiliars and its redundancies) integrated with VSNNEWS TERMINAL and third-party NCS. Visitors could also know more about the different modules of VSN s MCR automation and distribution solution, whose main feature is VSNMULTICOM, advanced continuity automation, now fully integrated with webTV.

The presence of VSN in the Chilean tradeshow has been very well received and attracted a good numbers of visitors, who had the opportunity to ask questions about VSN s suite of products to the sales representatives that participated in the event. VSN is currently expanding its business in Latin America, building close relations with its clients and paying attention to what the industry needs, in order to being able to solve those needs efficiently.
